Heather and I recently went on our honeymoon and WOW what a trip! Because its seasons are opposite ours and we were in search of warmer weather, we adventured to South America. It’s a part of the world neither of us had ever been or even knew anyone who had been. Our trip included Brazil, Iguazu Falls, Argentina and Chile. And per the usual, we ate our way through them all. We couldn’t even get all of our pictures on one collage. The flavors were very different but at the same time very tasty. There were apparent differences from our North American diet such as no salad dressings, small (but strong) size coffees and some of the best fresh fruit we have ever had (papayas and mangos!). We had acai in Brazil, ribeye steak and empanadas in Argentina, and ceviche in Chile plus everything in between. If you are heading to South America, let me know and I would love to give you some recommendations of some of our favorite places and foods we experienced! Salud!
